This bit caught my attention while watching old SNL reruns on netflix. This is from Bill Hader and Andy Samburg’s first show in 2005. Six years later it’s almost strange how much this dynamic still rings true.
This one is also pretty great. And reminded how much I use to love Darkwing Duck, which I had completely forgotten about.
This is one of my favorite cracked articles ever. Except I don’t care what anyone says, I still hate Don Draper. Other than that I think this is hysterical and perfect.
Already shared this on google + but a must read for any writer frustrated by the industry cliches that they themselves consider guilty pleasures and for any fan of chick flicks.
And well anyone who appreciates the insightful comedy of Mindy Kaling.
Anyone who knows my feelings about dishes left in sinks will know how much I appreciate the first one.
So I really don’t like “Gossip Girl” but I kind of have a crush on Penn Badgley (i’m all about bone structure) and I love Jeff Buckley. This seems perfect to me, which means I am sure I will be disappointed, but for now i’m still excited.
Even industry professionals have major communication problems! I do not understand how something like this could happen. Or how a production company thinks it could sell the broadcast rights of a show it has been producing without the consistent of the show’s owner. Strange story, but something everyone in TV should be aware of.
I think this commercial is brilliant. It is very clearly not marketing towards me. In fact the businessmen, with money to spend that they’d rather put towards a luxury car to pollute the earth than to charity or a better cause that is ad is marketing to, disgust me. However, marketing psychology has been a major interest of mine for awhile and I really appreciate a very well targeted ad or slogan. Very time I see this ad I can’t help but enjoy the perfectly targeted tagline and picture the midlife crisis businessmen and fresh from business school new wall street traders eating up the idea of “The Most Fun You Can Have, Legally”.
Long Island beaches really are beautiful, but would be more pleasant without some of the people that frequent them. I’ve been to the beach four times this summer already. That is more than the last six summers combined. This beautiful beach is 30 minutes away, but this is the first summer since I was 16 that I haven’t worked two jobs. It’s strange having free time but I think I’m learning to appreciate it. I’m definitely learning to appreciate my proximity to this beach.
